Job summary

Mains’l Services seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to help people live full, meaningful lives in their home and community. As a DSP, you’ll support individuals, celebrate small moments, and help build independence with compassionate, person-centered care.

Pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, with full-time and part-time options and predictable scheduling. Benefits include on-the-job training, education assistance, and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate compassion and reliability in daily care.
• Ability to learn and follow care plans and procedures.
• 18 years or older and possess a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in their home and community to live independently.
• Provide person-centered supports including ADLs, coaching, and skill-building.
• Assist with transportation to activities and medical appointments.
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments and document daily care.
• Support with daily documentation of activities and progress.

What You’ll Do:

As a DSP, you’ll support an individual in their home and community. No two days look exactly the same — but your impact is clear.

You May:

• Provide Person Centered Supports tailored to the individual needs (including Activities of Daily Living, behavioral supports, coaching and skill-building)
• Assist with transportation to various activities and medical appointments
• Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation).
• Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication.
• Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy.
• Accurately document care and daily activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• 18 years or older
• A valid US driver’s license, reliable transportation with insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check through DHS
