Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Fountain Hills, AZ, seeks a Lead Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for senior residents. You will supervise front-of-house staff, guide service flow, and ensure meals respect residents’ dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant setting, preferably upscale.
• 2+ years in a leadership role in a full-service restaurant.
• Experience in senior living or healthcare is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences, including portions and special requests.
• Maintain a smooth, enjoyable dining experience with a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
• Set tables with linens, utensils, and glassware before each meal.
• In the absence of the Culinary Director, direct the service flow and supervise front-of-house staff.
• Assist with scheduling and section assignments.
• Support special events, including setup, breakdown, and service flow.
• Monitor food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Relay resident feedback to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
