Job summary

Nike’s Design Lab within the Advanced Innovation organisation seeks a seasoned software engineer to build and scale the digital infrastructure powering multi-axis manufacturing platforms for footwear and apparel. You will connect design intent to machine execution, prototype in Rhino/Grasshopper, and translate concepts into robust Python and C applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (software/engineering or design computing) as required.
4-5+ years building custom software and computational workflows for design, engineering, and manufacturing.
Strong Python and C# proficiency with production-ready coding discipline.

Responsibilities

Build and scale digital infrastructure powering Nike Innovation’s multi-axis manufacturing platforms.
Create end-to-end digital pipelines connecting design intent to machine execution across multi-axis additive and CNC platforms.
Prototype and translate concepts into scalable Python/C applications and reusable engineering frameworks.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and external partners to accelerate platform development and manufacturing innovation.
Develop validation systems, automation, and digital safeguards to improve reliability.
