Job summary

Nike invites a Lead Computational Capabilities Engineer to advance software and hardware interconnectivity for footwear and apparel manufacturing. You will design tools, workflows, and capabilities translating computational design into physical outcomes across advanced manufacturing platforms.

The role requires hands-on coding in Python and C#, strong knowledge of computational geometry, and experience with multi-axis systems and robotics.

Qualifications

  • 4-5+ years building custom software and computational workflows for design, engineering, and advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and C#; experience with C++ preferred.
  • Experience generating machine code (G-code) for multi-axis systems and working with robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale digital infrastructure powering multi-axis manufacturing platforms.
  • Author, test, and optimize machine-code and toolpath generation systems with physical prototyping.
  • Prototype within Rhino/Grasshopper and translate concepts into Python/C# apps and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and external partners to accelerate platform development.
