Job summary

HDR is seeking a Digital Delivery Lead to join its Transmission Business Class and champion process improvement through digital workflows. You will conceptualize tools, automate tasks, and guide design teams toward efficient, integrated outcomes.

You will act as Product Owner for PLS‑CADD, manage licenses and usage, and align HDR’s Digital Design Community with scalable AI and low‑code solutions to boost project delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience; relevant BIM/delivery background expected.
• 5+ years digital design (BIM) and 5+ years digital delivery (model management) experience.
• Advanced skills in 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Familiar with industry standards, discipline codes, and specifications.
• Experience developing engineering automations or integrating low-code/no-code platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead HDR’s Digital Design Community in tools, workflows, standards, and best practices.
• Identify and scale process-improvement initiatives using new technologies and dynamic workflows.
• Lead and support use of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related production software in transmission projects.
• Develop bespoke tools, scripts, and automations to streamline engineering tasks.
• Evaluate and integrate AI tools (e.g., Power Apps) to enhance operations and efficiency.
• Serve as Product Owner for PLS‑CADD: licenses, usage tracking, cost analyses, and roadmaps.
