Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Digital Strategy Lead who will serve as the strategic analytics lead for the Employee Benefits and Corporate domains, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to drive analytics strategy, priorities, and outcomes while delivering hands-on analytics.

You will mentor analysts, manage work intake, ensure quality standards, and collaborate to deliver actionable insights and data-informed decisions at scale in an AI-first analytics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Analytics, Business, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data analysis, digital analytics, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading analytics initiatives and mentoring analysts.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and BI tools such as Snowflake and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data and analytics initiatives, translating business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.
• Serve as the primary analytics partner for assigned business domains, providing strategic guidance.
• Define requirements, KPIs, and analytical solutions with stakeholders to drive informed decisions.
• Perform advanced analytics, data profiling, SQL queries, omnichannel analysis, and AI traffic analysis.
• Oversee delivery of analyses, dashboards, and executive insights with quality and consistency.
• Lead work intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and delivery coordination.
• Drive data governance, data quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor analysts through coaching, reviews, and best-practice guidance.
• Maintain hands-on involvement while aligning with organizational goals.
• Communicate insights and performance metrics to diverse audiences.
