Job summary

Compass Healthcare is seeking a Lead Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition care and serve as a clinical leader within our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in nutrition and have extensive experience in clinical nutritional assessments and individualized care plans.

You will foster positive patient outcomes and lead initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence while enjoying perks such as education reimbursement, career advancement programs, and a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
• Experience with enteral/parenteral nutrition support is a plus.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice.

Schedule

Full time; Monday - Friday with every 4th-5th weekend rotation

Job Summary

We’re seeking a Lead Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition care, serve as a clinical leader within the healthcare team, and promote positive patient outcomes through innovation and expertise.

What You’ll Do

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments & develop individualized care plans to promote recovery & improve health outcomes
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition & lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to and lead QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of clinical & department staff & dietetic interns through education & training as applicable

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with five years of experience
• Master’s degree in nutrition
• Experience with enteral/parenteral nutrition support – a plus
• Advanced Practice Certification through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), preferred
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience – preferred
