ConGlobal is hiring a Lead Diesel Truck Mechanic to guide our maintenance team at the railyard. You will oversee inspections, diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and hostler vehicles, and ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will lead daily shop operations, mentor technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate records while upholding strict safety standards in all weather conditions.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on diesel mechanic experience with leadership.
• Experience with diesel engines (Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit) preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical issues.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Open availability; weekend on-call as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily shop operations and mentor mechanics.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and hostlers.
• Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on status and planning.
• Enforce safety standards across maintenance operations.
• Respond to emergencies and breakdowns.
