Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician I at our Omaha location to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and test to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable for customers, while mentoring others and following Penske processes.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technology to log, research and complete repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Work on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
