Job summary

Adecco Portugal seeks a Lead Diesel Technician in Maxwell, IN to diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. You will work independently, perform PMs and diagnostics, and respond to roadside needs when required.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7am to 4pm, with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits. CDL preferred and a valid license are advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong experience with trucks, trailers and heavy equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and welding experience.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.

What You Will Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Service loaders, skid steers, forklifts, concrete mixers, and other equipment.
• Perform PMs, diagnostics, troubleshooting (and occasional welding).
• Be able to work independently and respond to occasional roadside repair needs.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong experience with trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and welding experience.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record. CDL preferred.

What We Offer

• Schedule: Mon to Fri, generally 7am to 4pm
• Salary: $30to $35/hour to start (depending on experience)
• Overtime: Readily available, with most mechanics working 40 to 50 hours per week.

Pay Details

$30.00 to $35.00 per hour
