Penske Truck Leasing is hiring an experienced Technician I at our Boise location. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, logging diagnostics with Penske tools and collaborating with your supervisor.

You’ll mentor others while learning our maintenance processes and advanced equipment. You’ll gain training through Penske’s Technician Certification Program, work with a skilled team, and benefit from competitive pay, shift premiums, and strong growth opportunities in

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and ASE/608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experience with OEM training courses and using diagnostic tools.

Mansioni

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services with little supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) including full assemblies or components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
