A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic for the 1st shift at our Buffalo, NY shop. You will maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of Class 8 trucks, performing preventive maintenance and complex repairs.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Vocational or Technical training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
• Inspect and replace general components as required

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 1st shift Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Buffalo, NY shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.

Diesel Mechanic qualifications:

Diesel Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
