Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for 1st shift in Rochester, NY. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, diagnose engine/electrical issues, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of Class 8 truck experience, own a complete hand tool set, and possess vocational/technical diesel training or equivalent; HS diploma preferred. Strong problem-solving and independent work habits are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Complete set of hand tools for a heavy duty truck technician.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy duty trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.

A. Duie Pyle is looking for an experienced, skilled Diesel Technician 1st Shift to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Rochester, NY shop.

• Lead Differential: $3.00 per hour

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy duty trucks
