Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc is seeking a seasoned 1st shift Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Altoona, PA shop. You will maintain, diagnose, and repair our heavy-duty fleet, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnosing and performing necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 1st shift Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Altoona, PA shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.

Diesel Mechanic qualifications:
