Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Streetsboro, OH, is seeking an experienced Lead Diesel Technician for the 1st shift to join our Fleet Maintenance team.

You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, diagnose brakes, air systems, electrical components, and exhaust after-treatment systems, and ensure reliable operation. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for a heavy duty truck technician.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy duty trucks.
• Troubleshooting and performing repairs to brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
