Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Lead Dialysis Technician to provide patient care under RN supervision and to mentor the dialysis team. The role encompasses clinical duties, equipment maintenance, and staff education.

The position requires a CNA-DT certification, CCHT or BONENT certification, high school diploma, and BLS. Experience in dialysis and strong attention to detail are preferred, with physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in dialysis-related roles
• CNA-DT certification by the Maryland State Board of Nursing
• Completion of CCHT or BONENT certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS from American Heart Association
• Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with patient care equipment
• One-year dialysis technician experience preferred

Mansioni

• Oversee technical aspects of dialysis equipment maintenance
• Educate and mentor new and current staff
• Perform cultures, review charts and document properly
• Draw periodic lab work per procedure and/or protocols
• Monitor intake/output and vitals, report to RN
• Prepare water treatment system and hemodialysis machine for each shift
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Other duties as assigned
