Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dialysis treatment center.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be in good standing as a CCHT Certified by Maryland Registry.
Must hold a current license in the state of Maryland as a Dialysis Technician.
Current CPR certification required.
Knowledge with basic computer skills and other health systems required.
Must be able to lift patients and assist with ambulation when needed.

Responsibilities

Record and monitor pre and post treatment vital signs
Collect and label blood specimens and ensure timely delivery to specified labs
Document appropriate patient information and report all new and unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the Registered Nurse
Set-up, prime and monitor dialysis equipment and cleaning equipment
Promote and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment
