U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking an RN Charge Nurse in Harlingen, TX to oversee nursing services during shifts and supervise staff. The role includes assisting physicians, documenting patient care, and implementing dialysis and anemia protocols.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, 12 months of nursing experience (3 in dialysis), CPR within 90 days, and strong leadership and communication skills. State requirements apply; expect collaboration with the Medical Director.

Formación

• RN license in the applicable state, current and in good standing.
• 12 months of nursing care experience, including 3 months with dialysis patients.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Color vision normal.
• Demonstrated leadership and sound judgment in emergent situations.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Meet state practice requirements as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff on duty.
• Improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Administer medications as ordered and document monthly reviews.
• Assist physician during rounds and transcribe orders timely.
• Implement anemia management and related medication protocols.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• May provide direct dialysis per state regulations.
• Respond to clinic emergencies and communicate patient status to the team.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and physicians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and assessments.
• Mentor and orient new staff as preceptor.
• Act as resource on dialysis services and keep policies updated.
• Assist Administrator with hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
