Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. seeks an RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services per shift and supervise staff at our dialysis center in Laredo, TX. You will coordinate clinical and operational activities to support patient health and assist physicians during rounds.

This role requires an active RN license, 12 months nursing experience (3 months in dialysis), CPR within 90 days, and strong communication. You will uphold state/federal regulations and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months in dialysis.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Demonstrated leadership in new and emergent situations.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
• Meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff on duty.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician and assist rounds.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders timely.
• Implement anemia management and dialysis protocols as requested.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• May provide direct dialysis care as allowed by state regulations.
• Communicate patient assessment results to physicians and team.
