Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience with at least 3 months in dialysis.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance to direct patient care staff.
• Participate in department staffing and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations by state and federal agencies.
• Conduct staff meetings with Clinical Manager at least monthly.
• Supervise documentation of patient information and care plans.
• Coordinate Charge Nurse duties with Staff RNs acting in relief capacity.
