Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.).
• Current state licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience and an additional 3 months of clinical dialysis experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to direct patient care staff.
• Participate in department staffing and appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate with Clinical Manager on staff meetings and coverage.
• Supervise patient care assignments and monitor dialysis treatments for safety and quality.
• Administer medications per physician orders and act as a resource for staff.
