Job summary

Choisys-Technology seeks a Lead Developer to direct the DevSecOps lifecycle and Agile sprint execution for a high-visibility government system at Ft. Meade, MD.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on maintaining, modernizing, and refactoring legacy code while enabling secure data integration with new enterprise platforms. Applicants must hold an active Secret clearance (IT-I eligibility), US citizenship, and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance (IT-I eligibility) and US citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• DoD 8570.01-M / 8140.01 compliant IAT II baseline certification as required by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Direct the DevSecOps lifecycle and Agile sprint execution for a government system.
• Lead design, coding, unit testing, and optimization of critical IT programs and SQL queries.
• Implement TDD and ensure traceability from user stories to tests and security checks.
• Manage source code integrity, release packages, and Fortify security scans.
• Ensure integration with agency SSO/PKI authentication and remediate high-risk findings.
