Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Lead Software Technology Engineer (DevSecOps) – Senior to support a DoD customer in Philadelphia, PA. You will lead legacy modernization into secure, agile DevSecOps, driving architectural decisions, SDLC automation, and cloud adoption.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise, DoD/Gov contracting experience, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through migrations to microservices while maintaining security and compliance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a NACLC clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience developing software solutions supporting complex business operations.
• Experience leading migrations of complex, web-based applications to modern technology stacks.
• DoD or government contracting environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and lead the program-wide technical architecture and target-state architecture for modernizing legacy medical logistics applications.
• Establish program-wide software architecture methodologies, patterns, and guardrails with TDD and SDLC toolchains.
• Define patterns and migrate legacy Oracle/.NET apps to microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Angular.
• Provide architectural guidance for CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, tests, security, and releases.
• Drive platform and shared-services architecture strategies and roadmaps from current to target state.
• Mentor engineers to transform legacy apps into DevSecOps and Agile compliant solutions.
• Ensure architectures meet cybersecurity requirements including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
• Guide Azure cloud environments with PaaS and serverless approaches where suitable.
• Set standards, guardrails, and paved-road patterns for consistent, quality IT operations.
