Job summary

Choisys Technology seeks a Lead Developer to direct the DevSecOps lifecycle and Agile sprint execution for a highly visible government system. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and modernizing legacy codebases while refactoring applications to facilitate data integration with new enterprise platforms.

This position is contingent upon contract award. You will lead an Agile/Scrum team using ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Microsoft SQL Server;

Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance (with IT-I eligibility) and ability to pass enterprise-level background screening.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline; equivalent professional experience considered.
DoD 8570.01-M / 8140.01 compliant IAT Level II baseline certification required by the agency.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Experience in a government IT engineering mission area.

Responsibilities

Direct an Agile/Scrum development team using ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL Server.
Design, code, and unit test critical IT programs with optimized SQL statements.
Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies with traceability from user stories to automated tests.
Drive the 10-phase DevSecOps lifecycle for high-quality product releases.
Manage source code integrity and release packages, including rollback plans and Fortify scans.
Ensure integration with agency SSO/PKI authentication and remediate security findings prior to submission.
Provide Tier III Help Desk support and create incident resolution scripts.
Refactor applications to enable data integration and module decommissioning.
Contribute to project management tasks and update end-user training materials and SAG.
