Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead, DevSecOps Architecture to own the technical direction and roadmap for enterprise DevSecOps platforms. You will focus on secure software engineering, application security posture, and CI/CD security orchestration, partnering with multiple stakeholders to embed security controls into architectures.

This senior role expects hands‑on software engineering experience, strong Azure platform knowledge, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams while working remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical experience, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of project leadership, architecture leadership, or technical leadership experience.
• Strong software engineering background with hands‑on experience in application development.
• Advanced proficiency with .NET / C# application development.
• Proficiency with Python for automation, scripting, or backend development.
• Experience designing and leading microservices‑based architectures.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure application services (App Services/Functions/Service Bus).
• Experience with API architecture, REST API design, and API gateway patterns.
• Experience integrating security, quality, or compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction, architecture strategy, and roadmap for enterprise DevSecOps platforms.
• Embed security controls into current and future application architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead architecture discussions and document technical decisions with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Partner with information protection, architecture, and engineering teams to meet security requirements.
• Drive secure software engineering practices, pipeline integration, and developer enablement.
