What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Implement DevOps best practices including version control, automation, deployment, and monitoring
2. Collaborate with Engineering teams to provide technical solutions and support other DevOps Engineers
3. Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot tools and pipelines for scalable, secure software systems
4. Operate cloud production systems focusing on monitoring and performance metrics
5. Document systems, processes, and assets to ensure business continuity and support client expectations

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Minimum of five years of experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar system automation/deployment tools
2. Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Docker-Compose, Kubernetes, and Helm
3. Proficiency in shell scripting and Python
4. Experience with build systems like Jenkins and Bitbucket Pipelines
5. Availability in Eastern or Central US time zones (EST or CST)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Java development experience
2. Experience in migrating existing workloads to Kubernetes
3. Background in logistics, warehousing, and 24/7 operational environments
4. Familiarity with enterprise logging solutions like Datadog
5. Experience with Apache Pulsar and PostgreSQL
