Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications and environments utilizing tools such as Jenkins.
2. Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering best practices.
3. Drive the adoption of DevOps culture and practices across the organization.
4. Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
5. Implement and maintain security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA).
6. Optimize cloud resource utilization by identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
7. Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and best practices.
8. Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams for smooth deployment and automation.
9. Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Groovy, Python.
10. Manage code and artifacts using version control systems like Git, and tools like Artifactory, Nexus, JFrog.
11. Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems with tools like New Relic and Sentry.
12. Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, including VMs, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and storage (S3).
13. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance.
14. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
15. Configure networking components and support databases such as SQL Server and Redis.
16. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
17. Participate in Agile project management using tools like Jira.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps engineering, including 1+ year in leadership roles.
• Ability to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.
• Expertise in Git, Jenkins, and scripting languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, cloud platforms, containerization, and security practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
