Methods Business and Digital Technology is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own delivery platforms and guide teams across projects. You will balance hands-on engineering with leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement. The role involves shaping DevOps practices across enterprise environments in an agile setting.

You will mentor engineers, review designs and pipelines, and collaborate with architects and product owners to drive technical strategy and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and running CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Git-based workflows.
• Terraform in production environments (HCL).
• Python for automation and tooling.
• Experience with Bash/PowerShell/Go.
• Strong Linux experience; Windows/macOS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and improvement of CI/CD platforms and workflows.
• Own complex technical problems from discovery through to solution.
• Define and promote engineering standards and best practice.
• Design Infrastructure as Code solutions for cloud and hybrid platforms.
• Provide technical leadership within delivery teams.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
• Review designs, code and pipelines.
• Work closely with architects, product owners and stakeholders.
• Communicate trade-offs and decisions clearly.
• Contribute to roadmap planning and technical strategy.
