Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Senior Transportation Officer to lead detainee transport under high-risk federal contracts. You must hold a CDL Class B with a Passenger Endorsement and manage vehicle safety and inspections while coordinating with Transportation Management.

You will review reports, ensure permits are current, and assist with candidate interviews. The role requires travel, long hours, and the ability to work under stress in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement is required.
• State Firearms License and State Security Guard License are required.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military is required/mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation operations for detainees on high-risk federal contracts.
• Review vehicle inspection reports and summarize findings for management.
• Ensure all permits and licenses for assigned vehicles are current.
• Verify safety equipment before trips and report issues to management.
• Monitor DOT Hours of Service via ELDs and maintain compliance.
• Assist with interviewing Transportation Officers when needed.
• Complete reports accurately and submit to Transportation management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (PBNDS/FBNDS) during transport.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
