Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Senior Transportation Officer to lead the transport of detainees under high-profile federal contracts. You will oversee vehicle safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist management in solving unexpected transport challenges.

Requirements include a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement, firearms/license qualifications, and leadership experience. Travel and extended shifts are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement is required for transportation duties.
• State Firearms License and State Security Guard License are required.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation operations for high-risk, high-profile federal contracts.
• Ensure vehicle inspections and safety equipment are up to standard.
• Maintain DOT Hours-of-Service compliance on ELDs.
• Review and summarize vehicle inspection reports for management.
• Coordinate staffing and onboarding of Transport Officers as needed.
• Travel for extended periods with overnight stays as required.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies in all missions.
