Job summary

Michael Aaron Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead product development from concept through production in a manufacturing environment, combining hands-on engineering with leadership.

You will design valves and fittings, create 3D models in SolidWorks, mentor a team, and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of mechanical product design engineering experience.
• Strong SolidWorks experience; AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience with fluid power, valves, or related products preferred.
• Knowledge of FEA, CFD, product compliance, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven project management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of valves, fittings, and related products.
• Create and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Review designs for performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement design improvements.
• Perform flow, stress, FEA, and CFD analyses as required.
• Manage engineering projects, timelines, and technical documentation.
• Oversee product testing and validation activities.
• Mentor and support a team of design engineers.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and cross‑functional teams.
