Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Design-Build Project Manager to lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects in the DMV region. You will head multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and drive delivery from proposal to completion.

Requires 10+ years in municipal projects, a PE license in VA/MD/DC (or reciprocity) and Assoc. DBIA certification. Strong leadership and financial oversight are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in municipal water, wastewater, and/or stormwater projects; Design-Build or other delivery.
• PE license in VA, MD, or DC, or eligibility via reciprocity.
• Associate Design-Build Professional (Assoc. DBIA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater Design-Build projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain relationships with utilities, local governments, and contractors.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver safe, on-schedule, within-budget results.
• Lead project pursuits including proposals, risk assessments, contract reviews, and partnering.
• Oversee project financial performance: forecasting, budgeting, changes.
• Coordinate with contractors, owners, and stakeholders to address challenges.
• Support growth of Arcadis' Design-Build practice through mentoring and client development.
