Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Design-Build Project Manager to lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects across the DMV region (Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland). You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and drive project delivery from pursuit through completion.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Construction Management, 10+ years of delivery experience (Design-Build or alt delivery), a PE license, and Assoc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing municipal water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure projects, including Design-Build or alternative delivery.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
• Assoc. DBIA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater Design-Build projects.
• Serve as the primary client contact and maintain relationships with municipal utilities, local governments, and contractor partners.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Lead project pursuits, including proposal development, risk assessments, contract reviews, and partnering strategies.
• Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and change management.
• Coordinate with contractors, owners, and stakeholders to address project challenges and drive successful delivery.
• Support the growth of Arcadis' Design-Build practice through mentoring, client development, and strategic project leadership.
