Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Design-Build Project Manager to lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects across the DMV region (Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland). You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage client relations, and drive project delivery from pursuit through completion with a focus on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing municipal water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure projects, including Design-Build or alternative delivery.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, or reciprocity.
• Associate Design-Build Professional (Assoc. DBIA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater Design-Build projects.
• Serve as the primary client contact and maintain relationships with municipal utilities, local governments, and contractor partners.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Lead project pursuits, including proposal development, risk assessments, contract reviews, and partnering strategies.
• Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and change management.
• Coordinate with contractors, owners, and stakeholders to address challenges and drive delivery.
• Support the growth of Arcadis' Design-Build practice through mentoring and client development.
