Ideal Dental is actively hiring a Lead Dental Assistant to join our Austin, TX practice. You will assist with a wide range of procedures, take dental X-rays, and manage patient flow to ensure smooth visits.

The role emphasizes infection control, educating patients, and collaboration across the team to deliver exceptional guest care. We value a licensed RDA with CPR certification and at least 2 years of experience, plus willingness to travel for DeNovo offices.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
• DeNovo Offices may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a smile.
• iTero scanner training and usage.
• Prepping and educating guests before the Dr. Exam.
• Assisting Dentists with all procedures.
• Sterilizing instruments.
• Preparing treatment rooms.
• Recording medical history for each guest.
• Performing X-rays.
• Charting existing and recommended treatments.
• Performing other duties as required to support the office.
• Working collectively as a team to provide the best quality guest care.
