Hightstown Family Dentistry seeks an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to oversee the organization and daily operation of our clinical back office. This hands-on leadership role requires initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to keep a busy department running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the dental assisting team by delegating responsibilities, training staff, maintaining consistent standards, and following up to ensure duties are completed properly.
• Identify and resolve routine back-office problems proactively and communicate significant clinical, equipment, supply, or staffing concerns to management.
• Maintain an exceptionally organized, clean, stocked, and treatment-ready clinical environment, including operatories, sterilization, storage, supplies, instruments, equipment, and lab areas.
• Stay ahead of the schedule by ensuring rooms, materials, lab cases, implant components, and specialty equipment are prepared before they are needed.
• Oversee clinical inventory, ordering, sterilization, equipment maintenance, and repairs while minimizing shortages, waste, and unnecessary downtime.
• Remain an active and highly capable chairside assistant who anticipates the dentist's needs and helps maintain efficient patient flow.
