Job summary

Vivent Health seeks a Lead Dental Assistant to provide chairside support and to oversee daily operations of the dental clinic. The role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality oral healthcare services.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of clinical dental experience, Colorado dental radiology certification, and an accredited dental assistant program, with proficiency in EHR systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Colorado-approved dental radiology/x-ray certification required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Current, active state license (if needed) within state clinic is located.
• Proficient in dental terminology, procedures, and use of dental equipment.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort and efficient workflow.
• Take and record vital signs, update medical histories, take impressions, and address patient concerns.
• Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize instruments.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed by the dentist.
• Coordinate and schedule dental appointments and treatments; manage clinic workflow.
• Record patient information and treatment plans in the EHR system.
