Job summary

DentalWorks is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and chair-side support. You will assist doctors, develop radiographs, and manage patient flow while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

The role requires radiography certification and appropriate dental assistant certification, with CPR or nitrous oxide credentials preferred. Expect a dynamic, team-driven clinic focused on quality and patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; radiography certification is required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred; Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a chair-side manner, making the patient the priority.
• Be present, engaged and ready for all shift times.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures; anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts, log health data, and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Educate patients and address questions; support patient flow and scheduling.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and OSHA.
