Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong PM experience in a technical/engineering environment.
• Experience delivering complex engineering/manufacturing projects.
• Defence sector experience is highly relevant.
• Strong understanding of project finances and performance.
• Experience with risk, resource, schedule and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage customers, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of £1m–£15m projects.
• Manage complex customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Own project cost, schedule, quality and delivery.
• Develop and manage schedules using MS Project.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and project teams.
• Oversee subcontractors and external partners.
• Monitor milestones, costs, schedules and progress.
• Provide regular project updates and exception reporting to senior management.
• Ensure projects follow lifecycle and governance processes.
• Support pre-bid and bid-stage activities.
• Identify opportunities for follow-on business with customers.
• Help develop and strengthen the wider PM function.
