Job summary
Green Shield Deck Builders in Michigan is seeking a results-driven Crew Leader to supervise day-to-day operations on residential deck projects. This is a full-time, year-round role with a W-2 employment status and a stable schedule designed for growth.
You will lead a 3-person crew, perform advanced construction tasks (framing, measuring, cutting), ensure safety and quality, travel daily to job sites within your radius, and actively develop into higher leadership roles while maintaining
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years residential construction, landscaping, or general labor.
- At least 1 year of carpentry and framing experience.
- At least 1 year of leadership or management experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel daily within a 150 mile radius.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work full-time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day work of a 3-person crew
- Build high-quality residential decks from start to finish
- Execute framing, measuring, cutting, assembly
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards on every job
- Train and mentor Crew I and II team members
- Travel to residential job sites daily
- Maintain clean, organized, and productive job sites
