Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Level 4 Lead Installer to ensure the quality installation of telecom, data center, and outside plant equipment. This field-based role requires up to 100% travel and adherence to customer and engineering standards.

You will lead teams, coordinate on-site inspections, and perform safety-focused installations while upholding Vertiv’s expectations for quality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience as Level 4 installer or equivalent per Telcordia specs.
• High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• Special electronics training or work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GR-1275, TP76300, IP72202 standards.
• Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills.
• Proficient in electronic test equipment; MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment in Telecom/Data Center/Outside Plant environments.
• Lead additions, removals and modifications on non-working equipment and circuits.
• Oversee on-site safety and quality, following procedures and PPE requirements.
• Analyze job drawings, specifications and MOPs to resolve issues before start.
• Provide training and development for assigned personnel; manage time.
