Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Level 4 Lead Installer to ensure quality installation of equipment in Telecom/Data Center/Outside Plant environments, with up to 100% travel. This field-based role demands hands-on leadership on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' accumulated experience or equivalent per Telcordia specs.
• High school diploma; technical degree preferred.
• Special electronics training or work experience.
• Knowledge of GR-1275, TP76300, IP72202 standards.
• Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills.
• Proficient with electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment in Telecom/Data Center/Outside Plant environments.
• Perform additions, removals, and modifications on non-working equipment and circuits.
• Familiar with all types of battery installation and maintenance.
• Install DC power, transport, and data center equipment.
• Lead role in all types of “hot” work including DC power additions and circuit transitions.
• On-site analysis of drawings, specifications and MOPs to resolve issues prior to job start.
• Ensure quality installations by conforming to standards and participating in quality audits.
• Maintain safety as top priority and use proper PPE.
• Oversee assignments, time management, and training of personnel on the job.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional appearance.
