Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle, in the Cincinnati area, is seeking a Distribution Center Picking Lead to oversee picking operations and support shipping/receiving while maintaining inventory accuracy.

You will manage 14–25 floor staff, ensure safety, and mentor team members. You will coordinate with forklift teams and utilize SAP/WMS, Excel, and related tools to monitor performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required.
• 1+ years of supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of Warehouse operations best practices.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors flow and communicates with floor personnel to identify problems or changes.
• Lead picking operations and support shipping/receiving as needed.
• Provide coverage for vacations and for office personnel and supervisors when needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through reports and data checks.
• Oversee forklift operators and equipment to ensure safety in the Distribution Center.
