Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years leading installation crews and coordinating projects.
• Five years installing/troubleshooting structured cabling systems (Cat5/6, Fiber, Patch Panels, grounding).
• Industry trainings - BICSI Installer/Technician, Panduit or Ortronics or equivalent.
• Experience with audio/video and/or security/surveillance is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction techniques.
• Computer and networking experience.
• Own basic industry tools.
• Reliable Vehicle with valid driver license.
• Professional appearance with friendly, responsive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Desire to learn and grow.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be versatile.
• Ability to pass background check and become DCJS licensed.
• Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Must have applicable experience OR demonstrate very good motivation to learn.

Salary: $25 - $40 per hour

Requirements

• Three years leading installation crews, running projects, reading blueprints, communicating with office team, project team and client.
• Five years installing/troubleshooting structured cabling systems (Cat5/6, Fiber, Patch Panels, 110/66-Blocks, 25-Pairs, Building racks, ladder rack, grounding/bonding)
• Applicable Industry trainings - BICSI Installer/Technician, Panduit, Ortronics or equivalent
• Experience with audio/video and/or security/surveillance is a plus
• Familiarity with construction techniques
• Computer and networking experience
• Own basic industry tools
