Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Principal Data Scientist for a hybrid role based in Dearborn, MI. Design, build, and deploy end-to-end machine learning algorithms to tackle complex data challenges across large-scale data warehouses and data lakes. Lead data quality initiatives, develop internal tools, and apply Generative AI to optimize the data platform.

The position requires a Ph.D. in a related field and extensive experience with Python, SQL, and ML frameworks, along with strong collaboration

Qualifications

• PhD required in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• 5 years of experience in data science or data engineering, with focus on ML and data platforms.
• Strong Python development for data manipulation and scripting.
• Experience with ML frameworks and libraries including multiple listed tools.
• SQL proficiency for querying and optimizing complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end ML algorithms at scale.
• Develop identity resolution and data quality solutions across large data lakes/warehouses.
• Create ML monitoring tools for anomaly detection and data cleansing.
• Lead data platform enhancements using Generative AI and cloud-native services.
