Launch Potato is seeking an experienced data scientist to design and deploy machine learning models that optimize insurance carrier matching and media spend. You will own end-to-end modeling, from data gathering to production monitoring, collaborating with an ML engineer on the production side and impacting real-world outcomes.

You should have 5+ years of hands-on data science, deep Python and SQL skills, and a track record of driving measurable business results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on applied data science with measurable business impact.
• Models driven paid media decisions: spend, bidding or ad serving.
• Explained loss function and architecture choices; neural networks understood.

Responsibilities

• Build and validate models that optimize insurance carrier matching.
• Own data collection, feature engineering, and model deployment.
• Monitor models in production and manage drift over time.
• Collaborate with an ML engineer on production deployment and monitoring.
