Hilton is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for its McLean, VA corporate office to support R&D projects in GenAI, pricing, forecasting, inventory optimization, and personalization. You will lead model development, collaborate with engineering and business teams, and deploy scalable ML solutions in production.

The role emphasizes autonomous initiative, stakeholder communication, and staying ahead of industry advances in data science and AI.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of professional experience developing and deploying machine learning or data science solutions.
• Two (2) years of professional experience researching, building, implementing, testing, and measuring performance of data science models in production.
• Experience writing production quality software.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and containerized applications.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, including data science Python packages.

Responsabilités

• Lead the research, documentation, development, and measurement of data science models in testing and production environments.
• Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders to drive roadmaps and decisions.
• Design and implement enterprise-scale data science applications based on data insights and trends.
• Write production-grade code and build maintainable ML workflows.
• Stay updated with state-of-the-art developments to inform data science solutions.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and technology teams to deploy data science pipelines.
