Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive AI initiatives across the Enterprise Data and Analytics organization. You will design, develop, and deploy models using modern ML, NLP, and AI techniques to support strategic decisions and innovation.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics or related field; 5+ years of related work experience.
Experience with statistical analysis, big data tools, and building predictive models.
Proficiency with Python or R, Spark, and scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owner to manage end-to-end AI development lifecycle—from requirements to deployment across on-premises and AWS.
Demonstrate ownership, transparent communication, and proactive risk management to ensure timely delivery.
Apply automation to streamline manual processes and develop reusable self-service tools.
Stay current with ML, cloud, and AI technologies and integrate new capabilities into workflows.
