Clear Creek Federal seeks a Lead Data Protection Engineer (Senior) to spearhead enterprise data protection, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery for mission-critical federal systems. You will lead a team of engineers, design and implement Commvault-based solutions, and ensure high availability across on-premises VMware environments.

• Proven ability to design and implement backup, recovery, and DR strategies.
• Strong collaboration across infrastructure, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, and network teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Data Protection Engineers responsible for backup, recovery, and data protection.
• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise data protection solutions using Commvault.
• Oversee protection of virtualized workloads and DR readiness in on-premises environments.
• Provide technical leadership for data protection initiatives and projects.
• Monitor backups, replications, restorations, and DR activities across large on-premises VMware infra.
• Support migration from legacy backup tech to Commvault.
• Develop and maintain data backup, retention, and recovery policies.
