Job summary

Elluminates Software Corporation is seeking a full-time Data Protection Engineer to support enterprise IT infrastructure in a mission-critical, on-premises environment. This role is part of the Vanguard 2025 contract with the Department of State and requires hands-on experience with Commvault and related data protection technologies.

• Hands-on experience with data protection systems in on-premises environments.
• Experience with enterprise backup architecture and replication technologies.
• Familiarity with storage platforms and virtualization environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support on-premises Commvault data protection platforms.
• Monitor daily backup operations and ensure successful job completion.
• Perform backup, restoration, and disaster recovery for physical and virtual environments.
• Maintain and optimize backup infrastructure including servers, media agents and storage.
